University of Maryland and Upper Chesapeake Health are offering a Living Well with Diabetes for six weeks at the Bel Air Library, 100 E. Pennsylvania Avenue. If you have type 1, type 2 or are pre-diabetic you can learn to manage your blood sugar and understand diabetes and the relationship with food, along with how to read food nutrition labels. "Living Well", A Chronic Disease Self Management Program is offered through St. Margaret Parish and Harford Primary Care from May though June. Click here for their respective schedules.

HEAL Cities & Towns
The Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Cities & Towns Campaign is an initiative of the Institute for Public Health Innovation in partnership with the Maryland Municipal League to provide free technical assistance and support to local elected officials and their staff to adopt policies that make it easier for residents to eat better and move more and create healthy, prosperous communities in Maryland's cities and towns.
