Any registered voter of the Town of Bel Air who desires to file as a candidate for Commissioner must be a registered voter of the Town and be a resident of the Town for at least six months immediately preceding the election.

Reier November 8, 2011 November 2015 The second meeting in November of each year, the Commissioners elect a member to serve as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board of Town Commissioners. The Chair has the honorary title of "Mayor" Upcoming Board of Town Commissioners' Meetings & Work Sessions This schedule is subject to change. For confirmation, call 410-638-4550. Regular meetings and work sessions are open to the public. Meetings will be held in the Town Hall, 39 N. Hickory Avenue, Bel Air. * WORK SESSIONS ARE HELD ON THE TUESDAY BEFORE THE TOWN MEETING AT 5:15 PM UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. * PLEASE NOTE DURING BUDGET SEASON (April - May): We hold additional work sessions and their days & times vary. * TOWN HALL MEETINGS are held on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month at 7:30 pm (exceptions: when a Holiday falls on a Monday, then the meeting goes to Tuesday and we only hold one Town Meeting during the months of July & August)
