Community Notes - Special Events/Projects - Christmas Parade

      Please Join Us at the Town of Bel Air Christmas Celebration!      

Sunday, December 4, 2011 - Downtown Bel Air

                                                                                             

2:45 pm:  Courtland Street Concert; 3:30 pm:  Parade (begins at the corner of Main Street and Churchville Road, proceeds north to right on Lee Stree and ends at Hickory Avenue) with floats, marching bands, Santa and much more! 
 
Immediately following the parade, there will be Seasonal Music, Bonfire, Caroling, Hot Chocolate, Cookies and Santa Claus in Shamrock Park along with a Tree Lighting.  
 
Scheduled to appear:   The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders, stilt-walkers and acrobats; marching bands from Bel Air High School, C. Milton Wright High School, John Carroll School, Joppatowne High School, Patterson Mill High School and Edgewood High School; costumed characters and mascots including Ferrous, Ripcord, Poe the Raven, The Oriole Bird, the Cat in the Hat, the Grinch, Frosty the Snowman, McGruff the Crime Dog and Spider-Man; plus Miss Maryland 2009 Brooke Poklemba, Marylands Junior Miss 2009 Kristi Snyder, Miss Maryland's Outstanding Teen 2009 Stephanie Meadowcroft, Mrs. Harford County 2009 Ashlee Johnston; plus musical performance groups including the Hoppin' Hawks, the Silver Eagle Cloggers, the Step 2 It Dance Academy, the TwirlTasTix, Applause of Bel Air, and the Titans Drum Corps; plus miniature horses and horse-drawn wagons, The Living Christmas Tree, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, and much more!

The Celebration will be CANCELLED in the event of serious weather, including excessive cold. 

In the event that occurs, cancellation will be announced on WXCY-FM 103.7 and on WBAL-AM 1090 on Sunday, December 4th at Noon.  There is no rain date.  For More Information call 410-893-1700
