Main Street, 2nd Floor, Bel Air, Maryland. Meetings are open to the public and the Commission encourages anyone interested in cultural arts to attend. Staff support is provided by the Economic Development Department.

The Cultural Arts Commission serves as an advisory commission on matters pertaining to the promotion and celebration of the arts in Bel Air. The Commission coordinates programs and events within the Town in cooperation with the Town’s Events Committee, local arts organizations, the Bel Air Downtown Alliance, the Economic and Community Development Commission and other similar organizations in the celebration of the arts in the Town of Bel Air.
The Commission is a volunteer organization consisting of nine (9) members who are appointed by the Board of Town Commissioners for a term of three (3) years. Residency is not a requirement for membership on this commission. Members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for travel and other expenses incurred in Town business. The Commission elects its own chairman among the membership by a majority vote of all members.
