Purpose - State law charges the Town with developing a Comprehensive Plan and associated regulations to implement the Plan. The Planning Department is available to provide information on development related issues and permit/hearing processes.

Comprehensive Rezoning Process - State law requires the Town revise its Development Regulations every six years to assure compliance with the Town's Comprehensive Plan.  In April 2009, the Town initiated its review and revision process.  Copies of the draft Development Regulations are available if you click on Boards & Committees above then select Planning Commission.
