Departments - Public Works - Recycling & Refuse - Loose Leaves Collection

[October 1 through December 31]

Loose leaves are picked up only during the period of October 1 to December 31.  

  1. NO call is necessary for pick-up service
  2. Rake leaves to curbside in a pile, leaving the gutter area clear.
  3. DO NOT MIX BRUSH & LIMBS WITH LOOSE LEAVES.

 COLLECTIONS DURING HOLIDAYS? Collection is according to the designated sections as shown on the Special Collections Schedule.

During the month of November, collection hours may extend into the evening and on Saturdays in order to cope with the magnitude of leaves. Also, during November, Fridays will be used to collect in areas not picked up due to the increased workload.

  SPECIAL LOOSE LEAVES PICK-UP

(First Two FULL Weeks in April)

 

  • Loose Leaves will be picked up the first two (2) FULL weeks of April in the Town of Bel Air.
  • Please rake leaves to the curb in a pile – separated from brush and sticks and leaving the gutter area clear.
  • Look for advertisement in local newspaper.
