Regular & Special Refuse Collections

Do Not Place Trash At Curbside Before 6:00 P.M.

The Day Preceding Your Scheduled Pick-Up.

REFUSE @ CURBSIDE: Section 9-307 of the Town Code states, in part, that refuse containers, “shall not be placed at the curb before 6:00 p.m. on the day preceding the collection and shall be removed before 9:00 a.m. on the day following the collection.”

REFUSE CONTAINERS: Section 9-304 of the Town Code states, in part, that refuse containers, “shall not be less than 20 gallons nor more than 32 gallons, weigh no more than 40 pounds, be sanitary, rodent proof and equipped with tight-fitting lids.

RECYCLING @ CURBSIDE:  Curbside Recyclables can NO LONGER be picked up in plastic bags (plastic trash bags, plastic grocery bags, etc.).  Curbside recyclables may be commingled loosely in an approved refuse container, paper bags or cardboard boxes.

BULK PICK-UP DATES -- Bulk pick-up collections are performed bi-weekly on Wednesday, except for holidays falling on a regular trash day.
