BEL AIR CHRISTMAS THEATRE TO DELIGHT AUDIENCES AGAIN IN 2008
Bel Air, MD (August 14, 2008) – The Bel Air Christmas Theatre will once again delight audiences this December at the Bel Air Reckord Armory with “Here’s Love, The Miracle on 34th Street’, a musical adaptation of the classic film “Miracle on 34th Street” which tells the tale of a skeptical little girl who doubts the existence of Santa Claus until the real Kris Kringle is hired for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The production is directed by Patricia Richardson of Theatreworks…Live! Inc. and produced by the Center for the Arts. Book, music and lyrics by Meredith Wilson.
Performances will be on Friday, December 5th at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 6th at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, December 12th at 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, December 13th at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $14 for children (18 and under); $16 for seniors (65 and older); and $20 for adults. The funds raised will benefit the Center for the Arts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a regional arts center in Harford County. Currently, the Center for the Arts operates from Tudor Hall, but plans to build a permanent home for the arts, accessible to all, to present, exhibit and educate in the disciplines of dance, theatre, music, literary and visual arts pursuits.
