The Board of Building Appeals affords a person the right to appeal a decision of the Town's Building Official that is related to the Town's building code or a decision regarding property maintenance. The Board consists of three members appointed by the Board of Town Commissioners. Each member is a licensed professional engineer or architect, or a builder or superintendent of building construction with at least seven years of experience, four of which shall have been in responsible charge of work. The Board meets upon notice from the Chairman, within 10 days of the filing of an appeal. The members serve without compensation.
