Volunteer - Police Auxiliary

Please contact our membership division at membership@bapdaux.org for more information. A unique opportunity is currently available for the law enforcement enthusiast. The Bel Air Auxiliary Police is now recruiting new members for their team. We aspire to improve the quality of life in partnership with the community.

Required Qualifications:
Persons appointed shall be required to:

  • be a U.S.Citizen,
  • at least twenty-one (21) years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent,
  • possess a valid drivers license (equivalent to a noncommercial class C Maryland driver's license),
  • be of good moral character and stable temperament,
  • must successfully pass an oral interview and background investigation,
  • be willing to take a loyalty oath
  • be a citizen who cares enough about local government to serve as a volunteer in a public safety capacity.
