Bel Air Art Walk
The Arts and Entertainment District has created a self-guided Art Walk that features twenty pieces of our public art in a two-mile walk through downtown. We encourage you to stroll through our vibrant Arts & Entertainment District while also taking advantage of all of the fantastic shops and restaurants along the way! Download our Art Walk below or pick up a hard copy of the brochure at the Harford Artists’ Gallery Visitors’ Center in Armory Marketplace (37 North Main Street).
Hearts of Harford
The many painted hearts that you may see in and around downtown Bel Air are a promotion by the Downtown Alliance to create awareness of art in the public space. Various businesses and civic organizations have sponsored hearts with a specific theme that relates to Bel Air and Harford County.
Cultural Arts Commission
The Cultural Arts Commission is a volunteer board whose mission is to promote music, dance, visual art, performing art, photographic art, and the written word in the Town of Bel Air. The Irishman's Chorale, sponsorship of events at the Bel Air Armory and public art projects are only a few of the of the programs the Cultural Arts Commission sponsors. The Cultural Arts Commission serves as an advisory commission to the Board of Town Commissioners on matters pertaining to the celebration and promotion of the cultural arts in the town.
