The Town of Bel Air Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. to consider authorizing the issuance and private sale of an Infrastructure Bond.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
he Town of Bel Air, Maryland, will hold a public hearing to consider a resolution authorizing an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $9,500,000 of public debt (the “Bonds”) to be issued under the State of Maryland’s Local Government Infrastructure Financing Program, pursuant to the authority of Sections 4-101 through 4-255 of the Housing and Community Development Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended. The purpose of this debt is to (i) finance all or a portion of the costs of renovation, expansion, and equipping of both the Town Hall and Town Police Department, (ii) funding a portion of a capital reserve fund, and (iii) to pay the costs of issuance of the Bonds.
