In the years following WWII, Russel & Kate Lord moved to Bel Air. Their work in D.C. during the war exposed them to the devastation of agriculture and the environment and led to a passion to protect the land. Together they published one of the first environmental magazines in the nation, impacting the environmental movement then and now.
