I grew up in Bel Air and have lived here since I was six years old. I am a graduate of Bel Air High School (class of 1995). I graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in biochemistry before earning a bachelor’s in Nursing from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 2001. I worked as a Registered Nurse for 11 years at various locations in Baltimore, Harford County, and Baltimore County including a neurology and neurosurgery unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital, a freestanding endoscopy clinic in Towson, and the nursing skills lab at Harford Community College. In 2014 I earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Maryland University College and for the past five years I’ve worked as a software engineer supporting Army Research Lab at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
